A blend of raspberry and vanilla essential oils, this wool wash will leave your woolly makes with a beautiful soft reminder of warmth.

 

Each bar is hand crafted, hand cut and approximately 3oz. These bars are lightly tinted with mica and will not affect your hand makes. These bars contain no artificial dyes or detergents and come wrapped in shrink wrap. The all natural ingredients leave your makes super soft and lightly scented. 

How to Use:

Thoroughly soak your woolen make in 2-3 inches of warm water. You may run the water over your wool wash bar while filling your basin or lather your hands after soaking your make. Then push the suds through your make. Allow to soak for 10-15 minutes and then remove. Further rinsing is not necessary. Gently squish out excessive water and lay flat/block as necessary.

  • Chime Suri: 459 yards (50g) 75% Baby Suri Alpaca, 25% Mulberry Silk // 1 ply
  • Chime Mohair: 437 yards (50g) 74% Super Kid Mohair, 26% Mulberry Silk // 1 ply

Sock/Fingering Weights: 
If it has sock in the name, I would recommend it for socks. Otherwise I call it fingering.

  • Rainbow Cog Fiber - 89% Shaniko combed top (untreated Merino/Rambouillet blend), 6% Acyclic, 5% Rayon - approximately 4 oz per braid - This fiber contains a multitude of colors for the tweedy bits.

Yarn is soaked in a yuzu scented wool wash before being rinsed until the water runs clear. Some color bleeding for the first few washes may be possible especially for those highly saturated colors. It is advised to wash your makes separately.

Additionally, I recommend washing handmade items with a mild detergent and laying flat to dry. Superwash items can possibly be machine washing on gentle cycle but I can not be held responsible for any mishaps. Non-Superwash items should DEFINITELY be hand washed.

All yarn comes from a pet friendly home, specifically cats as the dog has zero access to my studio. Twisted and labeled yarn is kept from up and away from possible kitty snuggles but please keep this information in mind when purchasing.
